The Dandin Group presented at the Internet Everywhere: Wireless and Satellite Internet Services in Japan and Asia conference hosted by the Global Internet Project (GIP). Dewayne Hendricks was a panelist on "Wireless and Satellite Internet Services in Asia."

Wireless and satellite Internet technologies enable more people in more places to get Internet access cheaper and quicker. These new technologies can foster a range of new, exciting Internet-based services that would simply be impossible with traditional wired networks. How are wireless Internet services being used to "connect the unconnected" in Asia? What new services are being developed in Japan, Singapore, and elsewhere? Will the current architecture of the Internet be able to support a world in which there are hundreds of millions on wireless Internet devices? How necessary is IPv6 in such a world?
