DanDin types live, with no file uploads
With Sonix you upload a file and pay by the hour. With DanDin you hold a key and talk, and the text lands where you type.
In short
Sonix and DanDin are not competing for the same job, and we should be clear about one thing: Sonix promises more on Arabic than we promise today. Its Arabic page says "Sonix AI transcribes your Arabic audio with models trained for Arabic accents and dialects", while we publish no accuracy number and no dialect coverage until a recorded test exists that we can show you. The difference is the job: with Sonix you upload a file, pick "Arabic" and wait, and the price is 10 dollars for each hour of audio. DanDin writes your words as you speak, inside the app you are in, with no upload and no waiting, and you start free.

Pick DanDin if
- You want to write by voice live
- You do not want to upload files or wait
- You want something free you use every day
Sonix may fit you if
- You have long recordings to transcribe
- You want an editor, timestamps and speaker labels
- You want a service that says outright it is trained for Arabic dialects
We are not saying we beat Sonix on Arabic, because we have published no number that says so. We are saying the job is different: theirs is uploaded files by the hour, DanDin is everyday writing with one key.
Common questions
Does Sonix support Arabic?
Yes, and it has a dedicated Arabic page where it says its models are trained for Arabic accents and dialects. If your job is transcribing Arabic recordings, it is a serious option. DanDin is a different thing: live writing by voice inside your apps.
Does DanDin transcribe uploaded files?
No. DanDin writes by voice the moment you speak, and it does not turn audio files you already have into text. For long files, Sonix fits better.
