Monologue is for Apple fans, DanDin is for Arabic on Mac and Windows
Monologue has meeting notes and iPhone and Apple Watch apps. DanDin writes Arabic and English, on Windows too.
In short
If you are on Windows, or you write in Arabic, DanDin fits you better than Monologue. Its help files say "Monologue does not currently offer Windows or Android apps.", and its site and docs never name Arabic, even though Arabic is in the language list its public API returns. On a Mac and an iPhone, Monologue is strong: bot-free meeting notes, voice notes, an Apple Watch app, and offline transcription on Apple silicon Macs. Pro is 15 dollars a month or 144 yearly, against DanDin at 16.99 or 149. DanDin is our product. Every Monologue fact here comes from its own pages, read on 8 October 2026, and we have not used it.
