Spokenly is free on your device, DanDin is built for Arabic
Spokenly has free local models and many tools. DanDin focuses on one thing: tidy Arabic and English.
In short
If you write in Arabic, DanDin was built for you, while Spokenly does not say clearly what it does with Arabic: it claims more than 100 languages, and Arabic appears on its pages only in one docs line about sentence detection. Spokenly does win on things we will say: on-device Whisper and Parakeet models that are "free forever with no word caps", with no account, Pro at 9.99 dollars a month (cheaper than DanDin), an iPhone app, meeting recording on a Mac, and Linux. But its pages do not say whether the free models handle Arabic. DanDin is our product, and it needs the internet. Every Spokenly fact here comes from its own pages, read on 8 October 2026, and we have not used it.
The comparison, side by side

| Mixing two languages | Each sentence in its own language in Arabic + English mode | It says you can mix two mid-sentence [2] |
| Free | 2,000 words every 7 days | On-device models free with no word cap [3] |
| Pro | 16.99 dollars a month, or 149 a year | 9.99 dollars a month, or 99.99 yearly [4] |
| Devices | Mac and Windows | Mac, Windows, Linux and iPhone, no Android [5] |
| Default engine | The DanDin engine online | Cloud models by default, local ones if you choose [6] |
| Meeting recording | Not available | Yes on a Mac, with no bot [7] |
